So what's the most
important marketing principle?
Well, it's what I'm doing here... providing customers what they want whilst building a good

So how to do you create relationships over the internet in order to sell to your prospects? Follow

1. Offer free and valuable content in
the form of information - make sure this information is relevant to the target market is not full of sales
fluff. You want to provide your readers with insightful and helpful information so that you stand out from the rest
of the crowd. The more high quality the content you provide the better. This can be in the form of a 6 part mini
course, newsletters, PDF reports, videos or audio downloads.
2. You need to capture the leads - Once someone visits your site you need to make sure that you
are able to contact this prospect in the future to continue to market to them. The easiest way to do this on the
internet is using email capture forms. A list is very important because it is the life blood of your business. The
bigger your leads and list the more money you will make!
I personally like using an unblockable
popover (not popup) to capture my leads. I'm sure you would have noticed the form that appears where I bribe you
for your email address and contact details after you have been on my site for more than 20 seconds. That's what I
use to capture leads! It's very effective and I'll teach you where to get it, if you sign up to my

3. You then strengthen the relationship you have with your prospects - In order to do this you
need to continue to offer valuable information that is helpful and beneficial. Now to really make yourself stand
out you can add flavor and personality to your emails so that your prospects will get to know you better and feel
as if you are a real person, not just some randomly generated mass email.
4. You then assist your list by only offering products and services that will actually help your list
- This is very important. If you start promoting crap offers or scams you will lose credibility very
quickly and your business will die. You need to act as a leader and only promote products and services that will
help your list. You need to act as the filter or the BS detector and protect the people that make up your business!
I cannot stress this point enough, because I have seen so many big name internet marketing gurus promote the wrong
product and have their hard earned reputation tarnished due to a slight misjudgment. A reputation takes years to
build, but only seconds to destroy. So protect your reputation with everything you can!
