Step 1: Market Research – To succeed on the internet through affiliate marketing, you need to know what actually sells. Now I'm not the type of person to want to be the guinea pig to test a market. I much prefer other people to risk their time and money to find out what actually makes money. Then I go in and beat them up and steal their profits. Well, not literally, but figuratively speaking that's what I do. Find out how to do killer market research in under 10 minutes. Yes, I'm not kidding. Step 2: Keyword Research - Now once you know what market is hot, you need to find out what kind of keywords people are looking for so that you can create a sexy website (like this one) in order to promote your products to. This sounds easy, but in reality, it's easy too. You just have to know where to look, and have an idea of what type of keywords are "buying" keywords and what kind of keywords are "browsing" keywords. Once you have done the proper keyword research, you can tell how much search volume there is for that keyword then you can start making a site optimized for it! Step 3: Content Creation - Now once you have the keywords to target you need to actually create a website. Don't worry, it's not all that hard. There are so many tools out there these days that you really don't need to worry about being a total newbie. Because, heck I was a total newbie at website creation when I first started. I made it, and so can you! Plus... the good news is. You don't need to know anything about the market you are in. I pay someone to write articles! Muahahah that's right! I am currently in 5 different niches, and I only wrote articles for one of them. Oh man I'm evil. Step 4: Website Creation - So now you know what market makes money, what kind of keywords people are looking for and a heap of sexy articles. You need to put everything together so you can make a website that is friendly to the search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. So in other words, you'll be creating a website with on page search engine optimization in mind (don't worry if you don't know what that means, because I'll explain it all in my E-course). That way you'll be able to get heaps and heaps of free traffic and visitors to your website without really doing much. Oh boy how sweet does that sound? Guess what? Step 5: Set up an autoresponder - In other words, set up a program to automatically send emails to people in your mailing list. That way you can have more than one bite of the cherry, because if you think about it, how many people bookmark your site or visit it and forget to come back? Probably 95% of them. So what you really want to do is get the visitor's email address (or contact number if you want to call them up) and then start educating them about the specific topic they are interested in and then soft selling to them (and occassionally jamming products down their throat). But the thing is, you don't want to write thousands of emails by yourself. With autoresponders, you set up the email sequence ONCE and you send out emails FOREVER AND FOREVER! Step 6: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - More specifically, you want to focus on off page optimization, because I assume when you created your website you made a site that had on page search engine optimization in mind. So how do you do off page optimization? Well, in short you get a lot of links to pointing to your site. How do you do that? Well I have a few programs that automate this service in a natural manner so the search engines do not get suspicious and penalize my site. Yup, that's right, I get it done automatically. Step 7: Traffic Generation - This is where you just get your content everywhere on the internet so that you'll be able to get a lot of exposure and links pointing to your website. This will in effect create massive traffic for your site and you'll be getting a lot of visitors and then you'll get money! Hooray! There are paid ways to get traffic, such as paid advertising through Pay Per Click or free ways of getting traffic, such as article marketing.
